Parkhill Main Street Road Reconstruction
CIMA+ for the Municipality of North Middlesex
High profile project in the downtown core of historic Parkhill that included a 2.5km of watermain replacement, road reconstruction, sidewalk replacement, utility relocations.
LEVEL joined mid-project to facilitate completion through the final 6 months of construction.

Colony Road Watermain Relocation
Town of Fort Erie
Project includes relocation of a 150mm diameter watermain in the Town of Fort Erie that services residents. The existing watermain needs to be relocated due to operational and maintenance risks, and water pressure and fireflow concerns.
The Town initiated a Schedule B project and enhanced conceptual design to develop a long-term solution for the watermain.

GE Booth WWTP Upgrades, Contract 3
Client of Romag Construction for the Region of Peel
Project involves the construction of a new Plant 1 wastewater treatment train consisting of a new primary gallery, primary inlet conduit, two 3-celled primary clarifiers with a primary building constructed over the tanks, two aeration tanks, blower building, two 4-celled secondary clarifiers and an odour control facility.
Additional works includes constructing a Prefabricated Building and demolishing the Maintenance Building, Decant Tanks and Control Building.

Stormwater Management Facility Operations and Maintenance Plan
Town of Pelham
The Town of Pelham is completing a study to to assess the condition and performance of all stormwater management facilities (SWMFs) owned and operated by the Town, as well as to identify the capital, operations, maintenance and compliance needs for the SWMFs.
The project will satisfy the requirements of the provincial and federal legislation and will provide short- and long-term guidance to the Town’s asset management, engineering, planning and development, operation and maintenance and corporate services staff.
LEVEL was retained to prepare the terms of reference and provide support for consultant selection.

Engineering and Development Design Manual
City of Port Colborne
Preparation of a new design manual for the Engineering and Development departments, including submission requirements, criteria and specifications for roads, sanitary and storm sewers, watermains, utilities, streetlighting and traffic systems, trees and landscaping.

New Greenfield Wastewater Treatment Plant and Sanitary Sewer Improvements
Niagara Falls, Ontario
Schedule C Class Environmental Assessment and Conceptual Design for a new greenfield wastewater treatment plant and sanitary system upgrades to support growth and improve wet weather conditions.
This project required extensive public and stakeholder consultation, planning and modelling, conceptual design, field investigations, First Nations consultation, risk management and property negotiations.

New Watermain and Road Reconstruction
Fort Erie, Ontario
Design-build procurement for the design and construction a new 5.5km 400 mm diameter trunk watermain and a 150mm diameter distribution on watermain with a complete road reconstruction in Fort Erie.
This design-build project was the first of it’s kind for the Owner, and required significant procurement, communication, negotiation and technical expertise.

Water Treatment Plant Upgrades
Niagara Falls, Ontario
Design and construction of an existing water treatment plant, including complete filter rehabilitation and commissioning (in-tank coatings, gallery coatings, underdrain cleaning, filter media) and other miscellaneous upgrades including exterior walls rehabilitation, roof structure, stairs, railings and parking.
This project required stakeholder consultation and technical expertise. It had significant compliance, construction, financial and operational risk. There were schedule implications imposed in the contract to ensure that the provincial and federal funding was received.

Sewage Pumping Station Upgrades
Welland, Ontario
Complete Sewage Pumping Station Upgrades, including replacement of all process, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls.
This project required coordination amongst the project team as the pumping station remained operational during construction, as well as technical expertise to understand and make decisions for changes during construction and successfully commission.

Public Works Design and Construction Manual
Brantford, Ontario
Development of design and construction manual to aid in the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operational activities for new and retrofit of existing municipal infrastructure.
This project required extensive stakeholder consultation with multiple user groups and technical expertise.

Reconstruction of the Arterial Road adjacent to a University
Guelph, Ontario
Reconstruction and urbanization of the arterial road adjacent to a university, including the installation of a new watermain, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer as well as road urbanization.
This project required extensive design expertise and stakeholder consultation, specifically, with the municipality, university staff, utilities, and the adjacent retirement complex.

Simcoe, Ontario
Reconstruction of several residential streets in Simcoe, including replacement of the existing watermains, sanitary sewers, storm sewers and road and sidewalk reconstruction.
This project required extensive design expertise specifically for grading and temporary watermains and public consultation.
